The NASA Space Missions Blast Off & Landing Experiment Kit is a hands-on STEM science set that introduces children to rocket launches, propulsion and safe landing principles. Kids can create a fizzy launch using bicarbonate of soda, experiment with balloon propulsion and design a safe landing system for their own “eggstronaut.”
The kit includes a crater tray, split plastic egg, balloon, construction materials and NASA-themed stickers. The activities encourage early scientific thinking while introducing basic concepts of physics, motion, propulsion and simple chemical reactions. Some experiments may require additional common household materials.
